Kapil Gyanpeeth is a humble dedication to Late Shri Kapil Deo Ji Agarwal — a visionary leader, lawyer, and social reformer who devoted his life to serving the poor and the underprivileged.
After completing his education in Pilani, Jaipur, and Agra, he began his law practice in 1939 at Neem Ka Thana, Sikar. His commitment to justice earned him widespread respect, and in 1945 he was elected to the Jaipur Legislative Council as a 'Praja Mandal' candidate.
In 1952, he was elected to the first Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha, where he played a key role in enacting the Rajasthan Tenancy Act, 1955 — a landmark law that transformed the lives of farming communities across the state.
His life was a testament to courage, service, and purpose. Kapil Smarak Samiti continues his mission through Kapil Gyanpeeth — keeping his vision alive for every student who walks through our doors.
